Cuffey’s Cove Wedding

Olivia and Brendan are high school sweethearts. Life had a few adventures for them take before their marriage. She completed med school while he worked as an engineer off the coast of Senegal—but they made it back to each other as soon as possible. As they worked to achieve their goals, the ladies from Cotton and Oak Events came to their rescue in planning an unforgettable wedding day. They did an extraordinary job of creating and pulling off the couple’s vision for a perfect Cuffey’s Cove Wedding.

The Start of an Amazing Adventure

Their venue was located at Cuffey’s Cove off the northern coast of California. I’ve never seen anything like it…forest, field, and rocky coast all meet at a point. It is truly a sight to behold. For the ceremony, the bride and groom along with all their guests traversed up to a beautiful cliff overlooking the sea. Earth’s elements spoke for themselves and provided a remarkable setting. A violin played in the background as the couple said their vows. Then, they joyfully traveled back down, waving flags, to celebrate at the reception.

The reception had a magical medieval theme. Gorgeous, striking floral arrangements by Willi Wildflower and candles adorned long banquet tables inside the rustic but elegantly-styled barn. Their friends and family could eat, drink, and be merry on intricately hand-carved chairs. The feast included delicious arrangements of grapes, berries, artisan cheeses and hand-carved turkey. Olivia and Brendan sat on crimson velvet-covered bench and shared a toast from an ornate silver goblet. During the reception, the couple stepped outside to take in the moment beneath the sunset.

It was Always You…

 I could not imagine a more fitting cake topper that so simply captured a couple’s story. It was perfect along with their wedding day. Together, they can chase the horizon for years to come. Congratulations, Olivia and Brendan!
