Erika and KC’s Intimate Engagement Session

I love being behind the lens, I love being able to capture beautiful memories, and I love being able to share sessions like these. I remember when I first met my wife and the moment I knew I wanted to spend my life with her. Such amazing memories that I never want to forget. When I spent the day capturing KC and Erika’s engagement session, their passion reminded me of the love Kelly and I share together. These two love each other tremendously.

KC and Erika both live in Gainesville, FL and are having a Lake Tahoe wedding in 2018. I immediately hit it off with KC, because we are both Jiu Jitsu artists, so we had lots to chat about. I love finding similarities with my clients. It really helps couples open up to me. There’s nothing better than a session where everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves. It truly shows in the collection. Both KC and Erika are in the medical field. I quickly learned that Erika is working to become a veterinarian. She was somewhat of a tomboy growing up, so naturally, she was very adventurous, which is a quality I adore seeing in my clients.

Adventurous Spirits and Passionate Hearts

An intimate engagement session on Lake Tahoe was perfect for these two, as it was filled with endless adventures and embraces. We started off in KC and Erika’s favorite little coffee shop Hub Coffee Roasters located in Reno, Nevada. It was super trendy and a perfect launching pad for the day! Not to mention, the coffee there is amazing. Many local artists and entrepreneurs hang out there to see or be seen (or at least it seemed that way). Throughout the rest of the session, we spent our time along the mountain ridge and traveled to multiple spots on the lake.

KC and Erika were a blast to work with. They share such a passionate love that was so easy to capture. I can’t wait to see them again for their wedding! Congrats’ you two!
